Thanks for the replies guys! I do like those McNeil supports, I'd prefer simplicity and ease of access to certain parts in the engine bay is the main reason I want tubing instead of skinning them. I've been slowly saving for fiberglass fenders, but I want an almost stock looking glass, with enough bulge to fit 33s or 35s and not rub the fenders.
