Re: brakes < gofast.. power booster vs manual brakes.
Well what I came up with a couple of years ago, was the front rotor off a srt10 dodge truck, its a 14" rotor that floats on the hub, with the 5.5 bolt patern, then I used a old set of wilwood forged superlites that I have had for over a decade in the box new. It barely clears on 17" steel wheels, so...

Re: brakes < gofast.. power booster vs manual brakes.
M. What size wheel and tire combo are you running? I am guessing that the hub/rotor combo are stock dimension ford? I would personally would not change a brake set up on a car with 11 days before the event. I usually do that development stuff in the off season. Also what kind of budget are you setti...

Re: Sti
Well Most of you guys do not know me, but I have been a crew chief on a Rally car team for the last 12 years. I have had the pleasure of driving both the STI & Evo in stock trim and race trim. I lean more toward the Evo because of the way it feels to ME. The STI is a great car in stock form, and mos...

Ive only found the srt10 rear rotor so far be close to this in spec. Also is the rotor floating or does it fi...

Re: Shock mounts on radius arm?
I would like to see some pictures of this please, both upper and lower mounts..Copykat wrote:I'm running 14" travel infront of the beam and 12's off the rad arms.
I thinks You should keep the 12's and make them work.. Unless you have tons of cash to throw around for another set of shocks.
