Re: cdn bronco solid axle prerunner
Had some problem with my AGR steering pump and the Ram assist. Since I have put my quickner I have some steering catch or lag in my steering at low speed. So decided to go with PSC pump and remote reservoir. Thought it would solve my lag problem but I think that my porting holes are too small or my ...

Re: cdn bronco solid axle prerunner
It's been a while since I posted but here is what has been done to the truck. After installing my quarter panels and painting everything with POR-15, I decided to change the style of the truck. So picked-up some satin black paint and voilà. The truck looks smaller now in black and my kids dig it.

Get RoughStuff to build one and I may be in there to order one to. Ruffstuff front 9 inch with stock Ford New D-60 inners and outers for availability. Maybe +1 to 1.5 inch wheelbase?

Re: cdn bronco solid axle prerunner
I’m done redoing my headers. I was tired of the setup I had. I brought the truck as low as possible to the frame to keep 7 inches of up travel. Doing so, I was always hitting the headers with the links or the tires at full lock. So got these Hedman out and modified Sanderson’s headers to fit upside ...

Re: Camel Joe Bronco 78
I went back and re-read most of the thread, but I don't recall your long terms plan for the truck. For hard core race only duty, we found that we had to truss the top and bottom. That center section is just really weak. See the link http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220 was when ...

Re: MOSS BROTHERS 79 BRONCO CLASS 3 RACER
Do you have a better picture of the front axle. I'd like to see the front bracing on Moss truck. If it can survive them, I'm sure it's a good setup.
I wonder if I they have the CAD drawings of the braces?

Re: cdn bronco solid axle prerunner
I would have loved buying off the shelf pieces but paying twice the price in freight in regards to the price of the piece, I can't stand it. By the way Autofab glass rocks we just live in the wrong place. I know they make bulge rear quarters but haven't seen any pics. I hope someone will post their ...

Re: cdn bronco solid axle prerunner
I did call Autofab for their fenders and hood in the pass but freight to my place was terrible. So I decided to make my own stuff. Time consuming but great when you break stuff so you can mold new ones. For the quarters I had done the molds before I flip the truck. I'm almost done prepping them with...

Re: cdn bronco solid axle prerunner
Problems are with the action shots is, I'm always in the truck with the friends. I will get my son's Go-pro settled up in a near future. But got to paint the thing first. Might go with satin black to keep it quick and easy and get the Bronco out of the garage?

Re: cdn bronco solid axle prerunner
Also as you can see in the pictures I’ve got the rear quarters cut out since I rolled the truck on its side. Now I have to get my rear fiberglass quarters finished to. I will post picture when their done.

Re: cdn bronco solid axle prerunner
Hi everyone it’s been a while since I posted. Camel Joe got me motivated to work on the truck. I finally got the rear bumps stops done on the truck. I’ve had these for 2 years lying in the garage. Took the poly bump out and fabricated everything and voila!

Come on Camel Joe go with the Autofab 78 glass kit! Keep the old breed living. Autofab has all the buldge fenders you need to keep this truck kicking.
Think about it???

Hi Jox here is the link :

I did do a couple of mods since. Some parts of the suspension and the headers have been redone. Plus the quarters are now fiberglass like the front end.

Re: Name to be determined... Race team. Formula 4x4 & Enduro
Looking forward to watch the Bronco built. Finally another 78-79 Bronco project.
For the cage look at my thread, I’m pretty satisfied with my design.
Also, what kind of bracing are you planning for the front axle? If you already have one made please post the design.
