Re: Tire Thread?
They have not gone to the new tread pattern on the Goodyear race tires? I use to run BFG on everything since I got them at racer cost or free. But when I got my Dodge 3500 I went to Toyo M/T and loved them. Now is time for me to get a new set of tires for the Explorer and I can't decide between Toyo...

I have always wanted to go to this thing but I have always had something at work keep me away. Maybe next year when I have the new motor in the Samurai.

Re: Any IDPA or USPSA shooters here?
I enjoy shooting but other then my yearly qual(which is a match course of fire) I don't shoot matches. My dad has been trying to get me to. He even has a rifle for me. Between work and the race program I don't have much free time. So my shooting is out in the hills and going threw shooting drills fo...

Looks like a lot of fun. I have never made it out to Pismo. Maybe some day when I have enough down time from work I can get out there.

Re: Fast-Aid Fundraiser Race Car/Pre-runner Show & BBQ
I figured he worked there because he was sporting a bunch of Solo stuff. I asked him a couple questions at Slash X when he was getting ready to leave. I was really interested in the rear bumper because I need to build something like that for the Explorer and my brother has been looking for a coilove...

Re: The Explorer
Someone did the rear cage and tubs for me. But I did the extra trussing to it, added the battery mount and jack handle mount. Me and my buddy did the cooler. As far as doing the front shocks and bumps, I am just going to take it to John down at autofab and have him take care of it.

The Explorer
I have posted some things here and there about my Explorer but I figured I could start a thread and post it all in one. After my 87 4runner died I needed something that I could load the family up in and run around the desert. 4x4 and 4 seats was a must. So I came across this Explorer and could not p...

Re: Hello
The main reason I was looking to add heims was for serviceablity and durability. I have to have some fab work done with the radius arms already anyways, hydro bump pads. Although I do like the idea of a old school style setup. Coils, leafs, bushings, and bypasses.

Come the begianing of next year though the Explorer should be getting the front end reworked. I am between running the autofab...

Hello
Well I don't have a Bronco but I have an Explorer, is that close enough? First thing I would like to say is thank you for your support. I was deployed to Afghan earlier this year with a small Marine team training locals. I was sent a couple care packages with some of the donations from the members o...
