All the trucks use dpfe's, all the ford cars from the era too. Go to the local parts house, get one. Easy. They tend to go bad over the years.

The hoses are tee'd off the egr tube. Make sure the egr tube is also in one piece. They have a flex joint and tend to split.

Did y'all ever get a tuner on the current motor or are you just running it on the stock '96 programming? Stock 19lb injectors? Looks like a different mass air meter too. Wideband when it was on the dyno?

The phone mic doesn't really do the sound justice. At ~40mph with the windows down it's about 85 decibels, full throttle it pegs out the phone at 105 dB
