Re: 1996 Eddie Bauer
Glad I could help. I just finished a stock order of them myself yesterday. Shop has been going through the ring terminals like they are eating them for candy.

Re: 1996 Eddie Bauer
Love the work you are doing on the interior. Very clean install on all the audio gear. All things I plan to start in a couple months when my buddy closes on his new house. 4K sqft garage with 2 lifts will be so much better than my driveway. Quick tip on the electrical. Best connectors I have ever fo...

Practicality of Custom Dash and Door Panels
I am in a bit of a conundrum with my Bronco. I primarily use it on road with some fire roads and such mixed in. I am slowly saving for a go-fast suspension as eventually I would like to have it capable of going west. However, I need to do something with the factory interior now. The plastics a crack...

Re: Welder- What to buy
I realize this is an old topic, but figure I could add a little insight. I have dedicated Dynasty and Millermatic machines in my shop. In a shop environment dedicated machines are gold for all the reasons already listed. However, I have several of the miller Multimatic 200 units. That see both shop ...

C&T Beams, Rad arms
Taking a shot in the dark here. Never seen a used set of C&T beams for sale out here on the east coast. Trying to piece together a C&T lift but as it is project #15 on life's list, it is not as well funded as I would like. Will need someone willing to ship, or in the San Diego area so I could pick t...

Re: Edelbrock Intake and BBK throttle body install
Throttle body idle adjustment screw has been adjusted. Have not adjusted TPS. Will look into that. MLPS is 4 years old. Will check it again though. Got rid of the constantly varying idle with new plugs, wires, distributor, and IAC. Trouble with East coast where I am at is finding someone who has a c...

Re: Edelbrock Intake and BBK throttle body install
Did this upgrade in 2017 on a fresh rebuild and have had trouble with the motor since. Always acting like it has a vacuum leak with crazy idle, but cannot find a leak anywhere. Finally have it running a bit better, but still a couple issues. In neutral, wants to idle at 900 RPM, Drive is 600. Not su...

Re: Drooopy's 94
Forgot the link... http://m.summitracing.com/parts/the-11650?seid=srese1&gclid=CJ6Kkq-v88wCFQ8vaQodgr8CVQ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That looks like a great solution for a couple spots. When most people put in headers, is heat an issue? I see plenty of people do it. Maybe i am just overly s...

Re: Drooopy's 94
Oh and it turns out the starter is not totally cooked. The motor ground was though. Gotta figure that out.

Getting really close to getting this truck back on the road and will bring the thread up to date when I do, but got a quick question. I went from fully stock exhaust to ss headers and bassani 3" y pipe and it seems like i may have already cooked my starter. What should I do to manage heat off this n...

Re: Drooopy's 94
Measure, from where your shock mounts will be, how much it cycles. Give your self some wiggle room on both ends. Cycled from bump to full droop on the spring. 14" compressed, 19" extended on the shock. Found a 5125 that is 13 to 20 that should be perfect. Really makes me want to do the front end.

Re: Drooopy's 94
Almost done with the coil buckets so I should have the measurements soon. Ran into a new issue today. Looks like the crossover hose on the fuel injector rail is busted. I checked Rock Auto and found no replacement. Any suggestion on where to find a new assembly. Would be fine with replacing the whol...

I got in a few hours yesterday on my new coil buckets. I think they are going to turn out nicely. I am trying to figure out how to size my new shocks. I am going to use a double eyelet style shock. It is 16.75 inches eye to eye right now but I have no engine or front end on it so it will drop down c...

So I cut the quarters off. Some serious rust up under there. Inner quarter was totally rotten and the rear section of the body is in bad shape. Anyone know if there is a patch panel for this back area? http://i616.photobucket.com/albums/tt250/drooopy_2009/Mobile%20Uploads/20160311_151857_zpsxrydyjo7...

I am likely going with flat black for the body as well. Going to do a couple coats of matte clear on top to hopefully keep the staining at bay. Decided I was going to buy 35" tires and checked CL this morning. Brand new set of 5 BFG AT KO with stickers still on for 700. Jumped on that. Will be tryin...

Drooopy's 94
I picked up my 94 back in 08 from a guy who had his daughter driving it to high school. Once I cleaned it up and did some much needed maintenance, I just drove it till 2010. At that point I pulled the 5.8 and did a quick reseal mostly to replace the rear main and oil pan gaskets and get at some of t...
