Re: 302 vs 351
Hey Rezrider you have to be regeared, I've got 4.11's and 315/75/r16 and I'm running 2400 on the freeway at 75 mph Mines not a daily driver...we use it as a back up and when we drive it to the dez for the season. I like the low gearing for what I do. It goes plenty fast when off roading...no plans ...

Re: 302 vs 351
So I've been looking for a Bronco for the last couple months, and have been turning away from a couple nice looking rigs because they had a 302. But I'm starting to think maybe I'd be fine with a 302. So I'm just curious how many guys are running the 302 and are happy with them, or wish they had a ...

Re: Key won't turn
Well, I haven't been overwhelmed by your responses on my current situation...must be no one knows what to do...or are keeping it a secret. Regardless...I took it to the desert, drove it without any problems EXCEPT ONE...when we got to our destination (Jack Hammer) I tried to restart it but the there...

Re: Key won't turn
The hole being bigger shouldn't keep it from working. The new cylinder will slide right in as long as everything is in the acc position. OK...next questions... Will I have to install a new "pin"? I figure I would to keep the cylinder in place... What position should the actuator rod be in? And as f...

Re: Key won't turn
There are two main reasons the key won't turn in my experience. First is the lock cylinder (where the key goes) and the cam that redirects the key cylinder rotation to the ignition switch (behind the dash) actuation rod. The cams can wear out and jamb and the key cylinder can fall apart inside and ...

Re: Key won't turn
Any suggestions as to why I can't get the key or steering wheel to turn? Never had any problems until now...I know to jiggle the key/wheel a little til it'll turn...done that still won't budge! Thx REZ Just happened to me about 6-months ago. The internals of the lock assembly fell apart inside and ...

Re: Key won't turn
If this is on a ford bronco or f-150 mid 80's to 96, it is probably the linkage. The actual ignition switch is in the dash and there is linkage between the key tumbler and the switch. This linkage gets worn out over time and evetually will quit working and lock up. You will have to pull the plastic...

Count me in, that Bobs is like 10 minutes away from my house! I also just live around the corner.....how "CLEAN" (I don't mean dirty) does the Bronco have to be...Mine is pretty basic, white "OJ Special", no modern pre-runner mods (yet), lifted, shocks, tires, that's about it AND it leaks oil.........

It's all about perception Dave. Yes, the site is called Go Fast Broncos. It is not Go Fast only if you have a dedicated Bronco prerunner ! Please, don't assume to know our intent for this site. Respectfully, i will have to agree to disagree with you. That doesn't mean that i'm right, and you're wro...

No pic's just a list to give some of you a laugh, cringe or to be jealous of (hardly)...in order of ownership *early 70s Torino (moms car) - not a Gran but hauled enough azz for a 16 y/o *75 Ford Courier - lowered with a shell and carpet kit...86'd the shell so I could carry my TM125 to the desert *...

Didn't need the info after all...we went out to the s/f area, not being familiar with the Anderson DL area we decided to head out to the Bessimer mine crossing...except for the cool/cold wind we had a good time. Saw some close calls at the actual crossing...one class 11 bug stopped and let the co-dr...
