A friend and his crew installed them on my old bosses F150. They were a pain in the ass. What was the issue? I am looking to go RCV while keeping stock width. I don't remember exactly, but a custom bushing had to be made. I think to hold the seal because of where the splines were or something like ...

Yeah, I think it's true. John was trying to sell the business. I think he sold the fiberglass side of it. It's a bummer and it sucks to see that.

What do you have on the front end now? cut and turn? lift brackets?

I put AFR heads on Wilson and they made a really noticeable difference. A good exhaust system (custom by Magnaflow) also helped ton. To be fair, the previous system was cobbled together and pretty crappy.

I haven't added one to an older truck, but the LED third brake light hasn't affected the transmission in my 96.
