Yea I don't see it being any worse than the stock one....the stock ones are just thin steel like this one except this one has the jci fittings already attached

They are used on the E series vans, I have one in the garage but don't remember what year it came off of.What years and model are pumps from?

What Pump are you running with these steering box's and what PSI 1450, 1600 or???? I am running hydro boost brakes out of a mid 90's Chevy 1 ton. Im swaping in a GM LQ4 6.0 and was planning on running a stock pump with full crossover steering, and a superduty master and hydro-boost at least to star...

From my research the LQ4 heads don't flow that bad at all!! They do have lower compression ratio with stock pistons though. Im going to run them to keep the motor Pmex friendly.

From what I have read GM used this as an upgrade on their trucks and a few of the aftermarket use this box(Lee, AGR modding it for HD dodges).Suppose to be very tough and upgradable. This box doesn't have a ford pattern but I have read it is VERY close!(mod one hole and it goes on). I haven't person...

If anyone is interested, after many many many hours of research: the bad a$$ box is a Saginaw/Delphi 680 box. The GM part number 88965542.

Yea I'm really a ford guy too but 6.0 and the 400 just made the most sense!! And it should run pretty wellSteveG wrote:Nice! Hows ford 3 bolt 700 saginaw box ($1100) needs one bolt hole opened up to fit and you need to fab up a pitman arm. I have a 95 F150 that I'm going to perform the swap on and have already bought a 6.0, a th400, and gearvendors overdrive. But have no idea what I'm going to do for headers! Anybody got any ideas what will work???????
