If you have c-clip shafts they dont work in non c-clip applications. You have to mill off the C-clip end to fit.
Thats why lockers & carriers will have two different part numbers for C-clip & non c-clip.
The last photo shows how much difference in driver & passenger camber at speed. Same relates stopped but driver sits like we want at negative. While the pass will sit 0. Is it common to have each side complete different cambers? Running 17psi as this race was both shortcoarse & rock crawling. Cut & ...
Right now I have as much negative camber you can get. The driver side sits negative at ride height but the pass side sits 0. This has been a big problem coming into left turns getting big time tire scrub & putting it on its lid really easy. Same has happen once turning right. We are making a determi...
I have 3 good wheels & 1 busted one. They are 15x8 5 on 5.5 Outlaws with a deeper backspace either 1" or .5" deeper than the common ones. I can measure them tomorrow.
I do like the truss WAY better than Artec & other top trusses. I'm gonna build mine this way now.
31 spline 8.8 vs 9" I think as long as you weld the tubes & truss it. Its as good as the 9" & you have a higher ground clearance on the driveshaft. I rock race so that clearance counts.
I use 1/2" thick Lexan for my skid plates. The stuff is amazingly strong & can mold to any shape you want with just a little heat.
With my new TTb setup on my Jeep. Im starting the front skid & gonna use 1" thick Lexan.
Lexan is just like the UHMW but I think its more flexible
Dam, guys Im still mind boggled by the actual help here & not weeding thru drama or BS. Had to order another pitman to drill & box-in. Will be here on Friday & should be ready for race day next Saturday.
If you mount the drag link 3.45" out on the pitman, all will be good. yeah this works but, how did you get these numbers btw? I just want to understand the two radius matching. This wasn't me understanding the 1 to 1 motion. It was leaving it to one person & not 4 chiefs trying to do the work. I se...
