Re: Saginaw Power Steering Pump Conversion
Is this the full "kit" so to speak? Does it include everything you need to successfully do the swap? (pump, brackets, hoses, fittings, etc). If so, i'd be interested in it if you happen to come across some more.

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
Well i've been searching for some used suspension seats, haven't had much luck or they were to expensive... but I ended up finding a corbeau seat. It is the Baja JP model which is similar to the Baja SS model - the only difference is the stitch pattern, and then the mounting. The SS model has vertic...

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
dtbback, I will have to look into that and play around with the measurements a little. I think if I were to get 14s, i'd end up mounting them to an engine cage that would allow for an additional bypass shock. That way I could kind of scale for future additions like maybe 16s or so. I took the truck ...

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
ChaseTruck754, dtbback is correct. They work with 12s primarily. They can fit 14s, but it would be hell trying to find a lower mounting location.

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
I apologize for the delay on the pictures VintageIronFab. I have been swamped with work and school. I finally had some time to work on the bronco. I ended up fixing my camber problem by cranking the preload to about 1.5". I have some slight positive camber now but I am pretty sure that was due to th...

Re: Negative Camber problems
Okay so I was able to crank my preload on the coil overs to 1.5" and my camber finally came back. There is a little bit of positive camber, but I haven't determined if that is while under load or as it sits. My toe is now out of wack, but that is easy to correct so no biggy there. I am just glad I d...

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
VintageIronFab, They ran me $700 including shipping. They are 4130 chromoly and bolt directly into the stock bucket locations. In the passenger side pics you can see that it clears pretty much everything very smoothly. I might have to re-locate or redesign the "coffee" can location but other then th...

Re: Negative Camber problems
Thanks Hollander for the advice. I checked the ball joints a while back and they seemed to be okay. I did the method where you jack the truck up to get the tire off the ground, and then wiggle the tire in and out (I think that was the way?). There was no play at all, but would probably be worth doub...

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
Well I wasn't able to get a whole lot of pictures, but I did manage to snap one of the driver side completely done. I really liked the way the inner fender liner structure came out - almost gives it that stock look.

Tchajagos,
It looks as if it is adjustable then because the bushing below the nut does have a series of notches. Almost looks like a gear with a few teeth.

Re: Negative Camber problems
Little update guys, I ended up scoring on some coilovers. So now the truck is sitting on some 2.5x12 sway ways with a 500/600 spring rate. I set my preload initially at 3/4" on both sides, and my passenger was sitting at around -5* camber. While my driver was sitting around -2,-3*. I cranked the pre...

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
Well Sunday we had a local GoFast get together with some of the other prerunners in town - so it prompted me to get my butt moving on my driver side. Wednesday I started tearing down the driver side to get it prepped for the new bucket what not. Had everything off and bolted up in under an hour or s...

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
I'm interested in your old coil buckets if you're looking to sell. I am thinking of selling the entire front setup as a kit (buckets, springs, and maybe the shocks). I haven't decided yet, and won't know until I get the C/Os on. I have another person who already expressed interest and will be my fi...

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
After fixing the nerfed stud bolt, I began prepping my shears for welding. I am not a welder by any means (although I have always wanted to learn - it's a MUST for this hobby). I broke out my dads little welder and began doing tacks so that I could get everything aligned and centered. I thought it w...

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
so Friday my coil over mounts came in from Dave @ Threat - love the way they turned out. Very clean and timely. I wanted to get started on Saturday but things came up which delayed my start until Sunday morning. They bolted straight up for the most part - although I had to ream a few holes. They wer...

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
Well I picked these up a little earlier then expected! 2.5x12" Sway-Away coil overs running a 500/600 spring rate. I have no idea what the valving is, but it was valved for a V8 so it should work out great. coilovers.jpg I have my mounts being made by Dave @ Threat Motorsports, which should be here ...

Re: 94 Bronco - Budget Build
So much for keeping this thing a budget build... I managed to get my hands on a setup of 2.5x12" Sway away coil overs for a steal. Originally I was going to run as just a shock in the rear, but after talking with Dave over at Threat Motorsports, we were able to work out a deal on some coil over engi...
