Re: 94 Raptor killer
Whats up guys, I'm currently running the General Red labels in a 35x12.5 on a 15 inch rim and i love these tires. I previously ran a set of BFG KM1's (35) and a set of KO's(33) and these Generals are a much quieter and more comfortable street tire than the BFG's by far. I recently ran my truck at st...

Re: Rancho Long arm install question
My tire and shocks also share a similar angle......it's slight. I've been running it like this for a year with no problems as a daily driver and weekend wheeler. Also when the axle uptravels it moves forward in the wheelwell slightly

Re: D44 TTB or Dana 50TTB 4.56 gears
I'd really like to find some 4.56's for a D50 since I'll get the larger ring gear and I can use the larger stub shaft on the passenger side, I already have a D50 chunk as well so I really just need gears.......oh and it's a limited slip too!

Re: Kyle's 95 Dualsport
Well I have some progress to post about. Picked up a used 8.8 from a member on here (thanks Kris) that is already loaded with 4.56 gears and a Eaton Posi and Aluminum Diff cover with girdle. Now just gotta get the 4.56 front gears. I am gonna be on the lookout for deavers and rear shocks at LeDuc an...

Re: Standard Radiator Replacement
Jerad's Bronco came with a very tiny single core radiator as well. A three core unit will drop right in with no modifications at all. Only beef I have with all newer radiators is the fact that the tanks are plastic rather than aluminum and are o-ringed to help them seal and leak after getting them t...

Re: Superduty Radius Arms
I wouldn't think you need to plate 'em. Ford put alot of time and engineering in those to make them suitable for a F250/F350

Re: Superduty Radius Arms
My Brother used them in conjunction with a set of coils from an E350 van that were progressive rate and got around 3 inches of lift. Only complaint was it was hard to align, a set of Rough Country 2.5 pivot brackets or a very mild cut/ turn would have fixed that, although that has nothing to do with...

Are those the old school Rancho arms? I have those! Don't tell me they break often, or at least tell me you were racing it. Makes me want to pull mine and plate 'em

Re: Anyone Make Their Own TTB Brackets?
I did the same as DezertBronco and stuck with short 1/2 inchers for strength and used lockwashers with a standard washer on each side. After 3 off-roading trips and about 5,000 miles the hardware has yet to back off but I check em at oil change intervals. I want to say I used 5/8ths bolts for the ra...

Strip those wheels down and powdercoat them clear. You could polish them but then it's gonna take alot of upkeep to keep them cherry.

Re: Brakes: Need to be schooled!
Something people often overlook with their brake systems is the fluid. It should be flushed if you got the caliper too hot, if not do it anyways, it's good basic maint.

Re: 302 vs 351
I sold the '90 cause I wanted the 351w Roller motor and E4OD not the AOD, Honestly even with the 302 not being a roller it still rev'd out better than my 351 with 167,000 but to be fair my 351 has 230,000 on it but is in great shape, no smoke and good compression on all the cylinders.....Hopefully s...

Re: 302 vs 351
I have a 351 With 3.55's and 35's I average 9.3mpgs which isn't bad since I tend to hot rod around town :) My motor is a roller block since its a '95. It has plenty of power and drive very nicely around town and its bone stock except for a flowmaster (just the muffler and all stock pipes). The only ...

Re: Kyle's 95 Dualsport
I love the job Mark did on yours Tony, I would really like for him to do one on mine but The shop I'm working at is slow and money is tight, I might just have to wait until Taxes and then I can get some Deavers and the upper shock mount and have a well setup rear that was done the right way. I think...
