unfortunately, the eec swap to a rebuilt unit didn't work. Might try replacing the TFI unit on the rebuilt distributor.

Re: No coil spark? Tried tons o stuff, what next?
we have fuel pump so the power relay ain't it. we also have voltage at the coil terminals. the coil negative does not seem to be dropping low enough in voltage to cause spark (the test light just dims rather than flashes) checking PIP & SPOUT in AC (200v ACV range was the lowest the voltmeter would ...

No coil spark? Tried tons o stuff, what next?
A lil' background: My buddy has a 90 5.0 bronco. It had been sitting for ~6mo and had its rear brakes done and was then drive to take care of smog. After smog, it died on the way back home and wouldn't start. We've been trying to troubleshoot the no start problem for days now to no avail. We get no ...

Re: From superlift leafs to j40s....
D'oh. Too narrow, ah well. Know of a good place to see about getting some longer ones made? It doesn't look like ford made em longer than what came on the bronco for any of the heavier duty trucks.

Re: From superlift leafs to j40s....
I usually get stuff shipped to my work, but if it's more convenient/cheaper, you can ship it to my pad instead. Zip for either address is 94566, thanks!

Re: From superlift leafs to j40s....
I'll take 'em, the guy @ Camburg said they measure 3" from bushing to bushing. Hopefully having stuff that tight won't be an issue.

Re: From superlift leafs to j40s....
I brought the other hanger home Sunday night so it's here when you find out. While I don't have a caliper here to get a precise measurement I do have a tape and these things are 2-5/16" clear now with the shackle in them. I'm sure they'd open up a little. 2 & 5/16" or 3 & 5/16"?? If it's the smalle...

On those couple you've done, any issues with the mounts welded to the cast knuckle cracking at the weld?

Re: From superlift leafs to j40s....
Sydude do you mind measuring the width of the Camburg shackle & bushing where it mounts to the shackle hanger? I THINK the camburg ones are 3" overall but can't say for sure. Just measured my Velvetride shackle and the metal portion is 2.75" wide at the hanger with a 3" width bushing, leaving 1/4" o...

Re: From superlift leafs to j40s....
shacklehang.JPG It is the inside measurement in red above on the shackle hanger. There seems to be a good amount of space on either side of the "velvet ride" shackle I'm running. I may be able to use one that is only 3" wide on the inside, but I'm not yet sure if the Camburg shackles are wider than...

Re: Alcoas and 5/8 studs
Are you guys enlarging the tapers by hand or indicating center for each hole on a mill? I plan to use first gen lighting 17x8 wheels (cast aluminum) with the 5/8 studs so it seems like this is something I'll be doing in the future.
