Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn
I’m going to build a housing that fits into the stock single din stereo opening but it started with about a 2 hour template tour. Basically where I’m putting the housing it’s able to access the trim which allows access to the 25 year old a/c controls should the need servicing. I hope this turns out ...

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn
More console pics. Had to put a small bump out in for just a touch more real estate. Maybe a cup holder poll of sorts. The smaller cup holders don’t burn up as much real estate but they don’t hold anything but basically a bottle of water/small soda; the large cup holders hold a cell phone or just bi...

Slow lead-in Stereos???
Hello All, I’m curious are any of the aftermarket Kenwood stereos have a slow lead in? Meaning you get into the truck start driving, plug in your phone, turn the know and it turns on at max f-ing volume - which almost gives me a heart attack and for what ever reason seriously pisses me off! I’m pret...

Re: E4OD IN/Out Fitting Size???
You guys need to get the hard lines flared to 5/16” 37* or -5an and then use a tube nut and sleeve with a -5an/-6an male/male and forget the clamps which are just future failure points. The tube nuts and sleeve are virtually failure proof and are just ridiculously strong connection points.

Paul do you know the PN for just that can? That pump is the Ford conversion pump or something?? I’m assuming it fits the canned ham variety pump.

Are you using a paste or a tape? Are the factory fittings steel or brass?

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn
The oval thru the support is done quickly with a hole saw, then cleaned up with a hand file. I will say you need to put a protective sleeve over the lines just to insure you don’t have an issue down the line

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn
Do you want the entire line replaced or just partial? I just did a partial thing- the important part of you are converting the factory lines to -an is they are 5/16” and are a -5an - the -5an to -6an male/male aren’t hard to find but they can be a touch tricky. I’ll just say this hardline has a way ...

Why are these brackets that are all nice and bent up not available like they are for GM calipers?

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn
My weekend project. Trying to successfully meld a factory 13 Raptor console to an aluminum skin that transitions to the dash and mates up and matches the dash contour exactly. So why like half way - I’m going to make the side pieces then weld the 2 together. It’s all getting wrapped in a thin paddin...

Re: New 2.5x12 FOA Bypasses
Ok so here’s the deal on FOA shocks- I think from my personal experience they are pretty decent but you can NOT use Viton seals. So they seem to use good seals and they leak. I think they use the same seals all of the others use but the shocks leak. Well mine don’t and it’s because of the Buna seals...

Waiting on Charlie at Power Steering Solutions to work his magic on my steering box, pump and ram— I’m working on small projects for SEMint 100+ prep. The dust lights and third brake light configuration is finalized. There are some expensive alternatives that are nice but I’m personally just not a f...

Make sure you buy a 95 at least - a 96 is the best but the 95 is pretty solid- personally I’d buy a cheap or free core locally

Re: Rear shock mounts
On the trucks that ridiculous 2 tank setup is the issue- you can chop the tank and weld it which is dumb imo, delete the front tank completely and run a 19 in the rear —or put a 33 gal bronco tank in or a 38 gallon tank. Personally I’d put a 33 or 38 gallon in there, and pay a body guy to cover the ...
