Well, up until I pulled the whole dash the heater/ac controls didn't work at all. I hosed 30 years of dirt, crud, and ash out of that thing with electronic parts cleaner. So, that worked, kinda. It doesn't seem to matter what setting I have it on, it never turns off. The stalling after work problem ...

What is that thing, it was clicking on and off about every 4 seconds.

Both times it stalled out it was probably almost 70 and had been sitting in the sun all day.
Tonight it was back down below 50 before I left work and it ran fine.
In the morning when I have gone to work it is in the 30's.


And then...when I got out to open the gate tonight I noticed this:

Anyone know what would cause my truck to stall when I gas it when I leave work? It works fine in the morning, it works fine after it stalls. It just started doing this when leaving work.

Discharging while running. Autozone tested it again today and said the voltage regulator still said fail. We thought maybe there was an internal regulator on the alternator so thats why I replaced it. I will have them test it again after work tomorrow. Maybe I should try another voltage regulator? O...
