3" Bronco/f150 4x4 leaf springs/shackles

Just like the title says :D I'm looking for a set of stock leafs, Shackles too but not a dealbreaker if just the leafs. I'm located in Gledora (210 @the 57) local would be great.
Hit me up if you have some and we can go from there...

Thanks,
Joe

Re: Stroker motor talk!..

Starting to do my research, pulled my motor yesterday. Its build time, my buddy says to make the 351 into a 408. I was looking at the SCAT assemlbly on Jegs for $1320.00, my block is good according to my machine guy. In my 95 Bronco, can I use the Scat 408 assembly kit and be trouble free ? Am I go...

Re: Tail gate tire carrier promblems.

Thanks for all the replies! I think my best bet is to flat mount it on the rear floor area along with my floor jack tow strap and 10" subwoofer ( that I was looking to hide anyway ) and other loose stuff and build a shelf to cover everything, this way I can strap my cooler down on top and have a fla...

Re: Tail gate tire carrier promblems.

I thought that it was just the skin on the tailgate when I had this issue also. One day I decided to take off the anti rattle stuff for the back window and weld the skin back up, well when I took of the rubber piece on the corner you coild see that there's a little bracket that was broke in half an...

Re: Tail gate tire carrier promblems.

Re: Tail gate tire carrier promblems.

For clarification, almost everyone who has offroaded a bronco fast has had this problem. My last one, the tailgate peeled down like a banana. Put your tire in the back or support your tire carrier from a new spot on an after market bumper. I came up with a reinforcement plate for the tailgate but n...

Re: Tail gate tire carrier promblems.

I believe if you go to Kellys build (Kel-Fab) he built some nice little tie-ins for his factory rack. I just took a look and I think he did a great Job making the bed side mount usable again but nothing for the tail gate... I know the answear about hanging heavy bouncy things off of sheet metal But...

Re: Tail gate tire carrier promblems.

2 'solutions' I've seen... Put it on the floor inside or a frame mounted bumper carrier....I saw a bumper/tire carrier that Darren at Autofab built that I think is about perfect...but of course don't have pics... It mounted the tire facing the tailgate so it's harder to steal, 2 Kerry can mounts an...

Re: Stroker motor talk!..

I have a question... Is anyone certain that the truck upper and lower intake manifold is a poor flowing piece? At full throttle I'm not pulling a vacuum, it seems it keeps up with a stock 5.8 so it must be ok til a certain point? Not saying on a built motor but I wonder what it will support?

Re: Stroker motor talk!..

I agree that the mass air 5.8 does not have forged pistons but the 5.8 mass air truck and the 5.0 HO has the same cam and heads so I would think a intake cam and head swap would net similar gains favoring the 5.8 in low end torque...

Re: Stroker motor talk!..

10k isn't a budget build in my book. That motor still needs all the supporting mods like the injection system and manifolds. I still haven't decided on stroking or building a high compression 351 but the hard parts are close when adding up the prices. I'm hoping to be around 3k into my motor when d...

Re: Giant's drop down brackets w/ coilovers getting 18"

I have the Giant drop brackets and radius arms and I am very happy with it, I'm not worried about breaking it after talking with Geoff about how he beats on his ( 3 laps at Barstow and a weekend in baja ) and his only failure was the stock beam pivot bushing's ( the drop brackets are set up with a s...
