Re: Giant 64 kit vs q80
I've been thinking about the 2.5-Inch spring vs. a 3-Inch spring (Q80/F53 vs. J40). We bottomed out the Bronco at a high rate of speed and it was enough to break the factory bumpstops off it. It has J40s on it and I'm sure having those 3-Inch wide springs really helped keep the rear end together. I...

Re: 1990 Ford150 4x4 "Bajamobile"
I was looking around on polyperformance.com . Saw a couple of different options for spacers. Really torn on what to do now that Mark shot down my spacer idea (I won't hold it against ya Mark). Here's what I'm considering http://giantmotorsports.com/content/view/43/55/. Is a mini spool gonna suck on...

Re: Giant 64 kit vs q80
The kit does work well. however it is expensive. it will still need 2 link and i realy dont like my springs and spring plates draging in the dirt and rocks. The one i did sat almost stock hieght. looks cool. but it sits into the bump zone in the bypass. I dont see the "value" in having 2500 into you...

Re: C6 a Power Robber?
I have c6s and e4ods. the c6 sucks on the hiway if you gear the truck so it works good offroad. The no od really sucks. the hp loss though the e4od and the c6 are probally pretty close. The e4od is great eccept that the coverter lockup destoys rearend parts. and if you unlock it it gets super hot. A...

Re: Single Cab F150 > Stretch Bronco
Considerations: How to do the shell? What is shown above is 3 ways. Long window like mine is very pricey , but maintains view from inside for the back seat. The fat "C " pillar keeps the view from inside stock like the big window for much less cost since the custom windows are avoided. The fat "B" ...

Re: Start Your Go-Fast Build-Front Suspension
Hey Eric, another option beside the usual lower push out is pie cut the beam and adjust. This keeps the ball joints in a better relationship (so I'm told) but then you have to clock the third for this style. Mark Kiefer does his this way at Southwest. There should be some threads on it somwhere. !!...

the currie housing is a way better choice. the axle offset you have is one of the most common. so a brake kit should be pretty easy.

the threads are short. but the taper is the same though. The nut goes on fine. You could use a locknut instead of the castle nut.

Re: Steering Gear Options
I'd take one if it has your face laser etched on it. If not I want it etched like a Tecate can. Current shaved head or "homless racing" head? I can make it happen........... your shaved head?? i must come and see.. haha i think my steering link may hit it. but i would like to try something like this
