Re: KOH 2012
If you have bypass i can help adjust them, if you have smooth body or coilover you would need to have shims for your shocks since i dont stock those. But yes as long as time permits I can help out.hobbyturnedobsession wrote:I do but I have swayaways. (I bought them before I was on this site) Could you still help me?

KOH 2012
Who is going to King of the Hammers 2012? If you havent yet attended it is a must see event and there is plenty of room to run a stable of Broncos around. Also if you need some shock tuning to dial in the "red cup ride" I should be out on the lakebed for about 2 weeks leading up to the race and am h...

Re: PELLEY's 1990
Well I finished my pivots today. I think they turned out pretty good. Also have a change in plans. I decided to go ahead and order up a set of FOA 2.5X14" smooth bodies with reservoirs. After doing some thinking I decided the doing 2 2" shocks would end up costing just as much, and would just mean ...

Re: Poly bumps
I run the Nissan bumps on the rear of Patch. Thanks Chris for the suggestion years ago. I'm about to install a set on the front as Patch does have the room though the height is a bit of a concern. No, Patch is not a Bronco. I've only ever seen what this page shows, but these might be interesting - ...

Re: Scott's 96' Interceptor
Joel here, if I read correctly the question is which 7100 valving would be good for a Bronco. One little known secret of the 7100 is that it can be custom ordered with a valving not found on the chart. So if you were looking for a 7110sb you would order the 7110sb99 (the 99 indicates a custom valvin...

Re: 2.5 x 14" king resi smooth body
I have a pair of (scratch n' dent) 17" x 60mm smoothies in a custom short length sitting on the shelf. 25" col 42" ext. Thats only 1/2" longer than the 14" King 2.5" race length. Customer got a few bits of mig splatter on the tubes after plating and swapped out for bypasses. $500 for the pair. > Joe...

Re: getting an easy out.....out
A note on easy-outs. If the broken bolt isn't turning then you need to stop cranking on the easy-out before it breaks. Drill it out to a larger size and keep doing this until it relieves the tension between the bolt and whatever it's threaded in. Yeah, I know, too little too late, but maybe it'll h...

Re: Shocks... because somebody had to do it.
Usually when shafts bend it's for something else failing or poor setup. If everything is set-up correctly, 3/4" is plenty large enough for anything. 5/8" is good enough for 75% of the stuff out there. To revisit shaft bending a bit more... the bending comes from some kind of bind or side loading. T...
