Learn something new everyday. Thanks Willie. Howe has a great PDF of how(e) the bracket installs and what everything looks like and what needs to be cut. Very cool info. I will add that little part to the sh*t I need to buy list.

Re: Fiberglass Fender mounting kit
It would be great if someone made them with all the tabbing but then no body would pay for them as they are a pain in the ass to build. Cost on these would be about 800-1200 built and tabbed I would figure. There's a reason why the fab shops haven't jumped on making these.

Re: MAF Conversion ????
The lightning use a cam grid with a 114* lobe separation and 24lbs injectors. The issue is the cam and the rockers as stock is 1.6. You can get away with 1.7 rockers but the idle sucks. Lobe separation on the e303 is 110*.

Re: MAF Conversion ????
The 95 May will work for you as long as the computer is for an E4OD. Otherwise you can piggy back the computers with a mustang w/MAF and have the SD computer run your trans. But yes that combo will not run in a speed density system. It is a fairly mild build that will run great with MAF.

Paul,
I would look to the Australian version as it is due for a remake in Australia. They come with diesel power plants down there and we may see a diesel stateside.

The dana 50 axle is not out of a bolt in application that is why I am asking. Wondering if the great minds here
knew before pulling it out.

Dana 44 question
I didn't want to thread jack the other 44 thread with this questions. Have a 1981 dana 44 with the bolt in axle. I also have a dana 50 axle for the center u-joint. Question because the dana 44 is currently in the truck, will the dana 50 axle work in the 1980-81 body in axle diff?
