Re: Vintage air ac kit
Robert- yes, the battle im fighting is the factory vent adaptation to the 2-1/2 ducting, should have a complete kit very soon!!!!! Wow, I'm super interested in this as well. Biggest question for me is where does the main vintage air unit go and what OEM stuff needs to be cut out or modified to let ...

Re: New format is cool!!!
Virtually all forum software systems allow the admins to set a specific amount of time after the user's initial post is submitted to edit it. Set it to give users 24 hours or something like that, so if we realize we made a mistake or left something out we can fix it, but not so long that someone can...

Re: Help - BAD one-wheel death wobble hitting bumps between 25 and 40 mph
Thank you ALL for your help & suggestions... ultimately the problem simply came down to low nitrogen pressure. It was down to 150 or so, so I charged the left shock back up to 225 psi and the death wobble is GONE!

Re: Antenna Delete Ideas
I’d cut out a rectangular plate of .0625 aluminum, round the corners smooth and rivetit right over the hole. Brush the aluminum with a scotch brite pad and it’ll look rad. That’s what I did as a base plate for my non-oem antenna.

By the way - when I refer to the 'left' wheel I mean the driver's side wheel.

Re: Steering Systems - Stock, Superunner & Equal Len. Crossover
Ok, kids... I've had this idea bangin around in my head for a while as a completely new and different steering system. Full hydraulic ram steering, with equal length steering rods actuated by the double ended ram. MUCH simpler than all of the swinger setups. What y'all think?

He's using the recently released Metra Double Din kit, it's only $60 and you can get it right away and do it yourself.

Re: Ditching the PSOM Ideas???
I think you can get rid of the PSOM completely by putting a speed signal interface in between the VSS and the ECU/ECM/PCM, something like this:

WTB: 92-96 Passenger’s Side Door Panel Upper Trim Piece
Is it the same on a manual windows door Panel? If so I probably have one you can have Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I’m not sure, there seems to be two different manual window style door panels for 92-96’s - one with the trim piece at the top, and one without. If yours has the trim piece, can ...

WTB: 92-96 Passenger’s Side Door Panel Upper Trim Piece
Hey y’all, I’m looking for the upper trim piece on the passenger’s door, picture attached of the same piece but on the driver’s side. Any condition, any color. If you have a whole door panel, I’ll take that if you need me to. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181026/aa67869b004ddc62b8430f3e126a410b...

WTB: 92-96 Driver’s Door Panel Upper Trim Piece
Admins / Mods - Please delete this thread, I mistakenly requested a drivers side door part when it should have been a passengers side part. I made a new post.

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn
There is a point where I’ve taken this truck where it’s the point of very diminishing returns.... man I’m a serious buzzkill!! Not at all! You're being very practical in a situation that's unemotional. It's not quite the same for me.. I've had my truck since it was brand new, and I have huge histor...

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn
This isn’t cheap but seems like O sooo good of an idea!!! It’s down to $5,995, I just looked. Pretty damn good for the money! But if you’re going to go through all the effort and expense of upgrading the engine, don’t skimp on the motor. I made that mistake myself by buying another 302 size motor a...

I personally dig ‘em, mostly because I HATE keys. I’m working on a completely keyless entry / ignition system for my truck that uses no keys/remotes at all.VintageIronFab wrote:What’s the consensus on “Start” buttons?
And I LOVE what you’re doing with Marilyn!
