Re: extending radius arms
thats what a friend of mine thought when he stopped by a few days ago but i also thought it would be a weak point, i was pondering whether or not someone may have had a better design, perhaps bending up a small truss to reinforce it.

extending radius arms
this is probably a stupid question but has anyone done or seen a set of home fabbed extended radius arms for a late 70s solid axle d44 front end?

Another stupid question. Guy at work has me toying with the idea of shrinking the truck and going down to 33s and maybe like a 2 inch lift. Would I be able to use the stock radius arms and stock mounts with a 2 inch lift? And what kind of travel could be obtained with the right tweaks?

Re: school me on ttb
another question, my plan was to pick up some extended radius arms for the truck but my budget has taken a turn for the worst, for now can i use the radius arm drop brackets my truck has right now? it will obviously kill my ground clearance but is there any major adverse effect other than that?

Re: school me on ttb
with the setup you have on your truck now how well does it handle when your out playing around? and any rough idea what kind of travel its producing? i ask because i didnt want to go any smaller than 35's right now. and eventually ill pick up some good beams and radius arms with a coilover setup but...

Had a feeling I should get coils and new brackets the drop brackets are brutal. As far as the beams this is a budget build for right now I've got a couple people who at the very least weld the beams for me (my damn garage won't hold 220) is it something that can be done without a massive issue?

Stock ttb front end
This is a total long shot but maybe there's other Midwesterners or someone who knows some on here, been looking around for a stock ttb front end for my rig to replace the sas it currently has. There is a member who has one in ny but its a little too far of a hike for me at the moment.

Yeah I picked it up out of a 93.id rather not change the yoke on the pinion as with my luck I'd still screw up the pinion depth

driveshaft/yoke problem
It was shorter and even with it extended its still short. Would a spacer between the tcase flange and the driveshaft flange work until I can get a new shaft made
