jake's 88
Hello GoFast community. Im Jake, and this is my 88. Recently acquired this beast in a trade. Its a basic 5.8 efi, c6. This is going to be a very slow build seeing as she is my daily driver. Plans are going all over the place right now due to excitement. Just happy to have a comfortable desert truck ...

Thanks again GFB!

Re: Removing "Unecessary" EFI Components
So what I'm gathering is, avoid Speed Density if upgrading cam, heads, intake manifold. In my search trying to gather more info, I'm getting confused as to what year FSB's have Speed Density and what years have MAF. I found some that say MAF is 95+. I read it is determined by the rear axle, pending ...

Re: Removing "Unecessary" EFI Components
Will running an after market cam, intake manifold, carb or throttle body, heads, ect. ect. Effect these efi components? Or do they require further calibration of some sort? Will it throw codes? Run to rich or to lean? Will it require a major reprogram of the ecu? Thanks in advance GFB! New to the si...
