Found this cool widget from ruff stuff that would allow you to build a factory style system with dom and TRE's of your choice. Curious of larger gm joints get better/same angle.

Re: air filters and air filter housings
Dimensions of the large diameter portion would help me the most. If you could.

Re: New Hood from Autofab
Weight and sheet metal cracking. I like the functional louvers without it looking like a rice rocket hood.

Love this hood. Wonder how many Jon would have to sell to give a price break? Gofast group buy?

Re: EBAY 4 Row Radiators...?
Inlet of the radiator? That wouldn't get warm until the t-stat opens. There's a couple ports you can use. There's ports on the intake manifold I think that will give you a good average number. I've found temp senders in the block or head can give spiked readings. http://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.ford...

Re: EBAY 4 Row Radiators...?
You traditionally would want numbers from the other side of the t-stat. You could overheat and have no idea with the probe in the radiator.

Re: EBAY 4 Row Radiators...?
Tony the wording on your previous post has me concerned. Did you add a port on the radiator or the block?

Check these out. They look very similar to the mastercraft baja xds and are half the cost.

air filters and air filter housings
What's everyone's using? Open elements, ump, junkyard finds. Shock towers make for some interesting packaging under the hood. Kris's rig has got a toyota air filter housing that looks to be pretty sweet. I gotta find something that works with southwest towers but figured everyone could benifit from ...

Re: Sag pump conversions
I've never heard that about reliability before. Where'd you hear that? They are smaller and some come with a reservoir but the stock style most likely wouldn't fit on a bronco. The stock style would be too small by itself in my opinion anyways. Absolutely nothing wrong with the canned ham sag pumps ...

Re: Sag pump conversions
Curious as to why the van bracket won't work for you?
If your starting from scratch look into the adapter plate to run a tc sag pump. They're significantly more effecient.

Re: Cut and turn dana 50 discussion.
That's been done. Check out the slappy style build.
If you where to build extended 50 beam (off of 50 pivots not 44 pivots) youd have equal length/a lot closser to equal length beams making camber sweep even side to side and steering would be easier to set up correctly... I think.

Cut and turn dana 50 discussion.
While stumbling through the internet I bumped into a guy who swears by cut and turned dana 50 with welded on radius arms essentially making them j arms. He made a lot of valid points and claims 17" travel with the same mods traditionally done on dana 44 ttb stuff. Highlights of the conversation: -Al...

Re: Let's discuss gofast dana 60 rear ends.
Found out a e350 dana 60 is 380 lb. Plus material for a truss. I'm curious how much a fully build/trussed full floater 9" weighs for comparison sake. I'm seriously considering going 8 lug instead of trying to find a way to convert something to 5x5.5. I think I'd be money ahead even with having to bu...
