Here's a close up of a section of weld on the arms.

Underside of the arm, I put a lot of heat into it for better or worse.

Sry for the giant pics, since I updated my phone my photo editing software won't make the pics file sizes small enough so I have to crop them big time.

Re: Rmc's baja bug project.
Update: got a bunch of cutting and grinding work done today, I had to cut off the old coil over mount on the trailing arms. They're were intended to use with a 1.250 shock eye and these are 1.500. Tied more of the front hoops in and got the hood to fit over the added bars.

Re: Rmc's baja bug project.
Back to this thing.... I am tired of scotch briting this thing so I threw some primer at it, assembled the rear brake calipers and just need to double shear the front uppers and finish the rear upper mounts. After that its off to its owners place to get stripped reassembled and wired. He will bring it back at that point and I will do a light bar and rear bumper. I just need this thing outta the way and doing the process that way should light a fire under his ass. Well one can only hope...

Re: Rmc's baja bug project.
Had to move this thing back today so I made the front a roller, I just slapped it together to make room to pull the bronco in to get the rear suspension and a spare tire carrier done before the trip. It's going to look mean though( bug)

Re: Rmc's baja bug project.
So finally I got back to this thing. Looks like the owner is going to tow it home Saturday amazingly. So here's as far as I'm willing to take it till he decides if he wants to finish it . I'm way way past sick n tired of storing this thing. See what had happened was lol he fell in love. We all know where his priorities went then. So since then he's been all over the world, diamond ring and bought a house and planned a wedding. Good for him I say but even better for me cause he has his own garage to store his shit. Some pics before it goes
