Need some help y’all. I can’t seem to find much on the subject.
When I had an intake elbow made they didn’t put the provision for the tube that comes off the oil fill cap back to the intake tube.
My solution was to just put a breather on it and call it a day. Well this thing pukes a ton of oil out of the breather.
Could putting a breather on the tube instead of routing it back to the intake tube cause it to puke oil?
If I were to route it back to the intake tube I wouldn’t have to deal with oil everywhere but I’d sure be sending a lot of oil back into the intake.
I did a compression test and lowest was 130 and highest was 145.
Also it really only seems to puke out under heavy load such as climbing a hill or driving hard in the dirt.
Thanks,
Chris

Ok. So then it’s normal to puke oil?mobil1syn wrote:vent into a catch can, drain catch can periodically.

Sounds like valve pressure is not releasing properly. Have you checked your PCV?
