Smog Pump Bypass

Post by S00TLYFE »

Good thread I recently tried and succeeded at on my f-150.

For those of you who have had this issue, you probably know that smog pumps are extremely expensive to replace and difficult to find. If you go to a hi flow cat, or no longer have one, you don’t need the air injection system to pass emissions.

I chose to delete mine after it seized. Initially I used a crown Vic belt which is shorter, but started having issues with throwing belts, also the belt was a little on the tighter side so I was worried about excessive wear on drive components, so I tried this and it worked very well.
