Looks good, dude! Glad I could help with those brakes. You should post up a spec sheet as to what you used. Part numbers and such so some of the disc brake Conversion guys know what to expect

Re: My 95
Oh cool I didn't know there was a fix for that.
And yeah again thanks!!!
As far as what I used was a 1997 master cylinderpart number MCA390337 (carquest part number)
The reason for that is it comes with. Disk disk proportioning valve
I have not installed the 2 lb residual valves that have been recommended to me.
Also a big note which may be obvious to some but was not to me in the beginning is there are 4 bleeders on wilwoods calipers, atleast on my superlights. You only want to bleed the top two.

Re: My 95
Trans temp question
Installing a cbr cooler with an external filter. I’m getting a moroso external filter mount with a gauge port.
So my gauge will be before the cooler, what trans temp to hot? I saw some people saying 170 is normal and don’t go over 220

Re: My 95
Hey Tanner,
I need to install my trans coolers as well. When I had my C6 upgraded I was told that temp of 250-260 pan and 280-300 converter is where damage is going to occur if those temps are sustained for very long.

Re: My 95
Need some opinions
I’m running 4.5” beams from Solo with their drop down pitman arm and tie rod extensions
Been using them for about 4 years now with some decent hard miles on them. Do I need to upgrade to a dual swing steering with heims for safety reasons? Should I be concerned about breaking tie rods?
Solos dual swing steering is going to run me 5-7k installed depending on what pump I go with. That’s a big chunk of change.... the only reason I would upgrade the steering is if the setup I have is potentionally dangerous

Re: My 95
Now that you say that, I remember Paul at Solo telling me that’s what he did. I’m going to have to do some research on that! Because I don’t know what all is required to make that happen

Re: My 95
I would look into a single swing steering. Was the standard set up till the new dual swingers set ups started to hit the market. Should be considerably less than a dual swing set up.

Re: My 95
So with solos 4link it being so easy, I’m thinking about doing it. Was planning on taking the shocks through the floor and I’d be doing nearly the same work as it will be to link it lol. Looking for some opinions on stretched vs non stretched broncos. Solo is also coming out with their stretch kit which is like a 12” stretch.
Worth the time and money?

Re: My 95
I’m sorry there’s no possible earthly way steering can be $7k installed- thats just crazy to think even say! I’d absolutely love to see the breakdown on that bill.

I felt the same way AFTER I spent the money. My next step would be short course style. But you should just link it looking good dude !!Tanner287 wrote:So with solos 4link it being so easy, I’m thinking about doing it. Fixing up some issues from jump champs! Ran into a fence and bent my stock steering up which I’m surprised has lasted as long as it did, with the help of Robert and my buddy Jesse I’m just about done with my steering. All that’s left is making delrin bushings for the hanger, welding it all up, and doing a double sheer on my knuckles
