Awesome to hear the results & a company stand behind what they sell. Interested to hear continued MPG findings if you are keeping tabs.

You answered the same on the LQ-9 as I would have. High compression is great for some racers, but with the power these things can make on 87 & keeping it Pemex safe, etc. the LQ-4 seems like the better choice.

Are you using the E4OD you had, or did you swap GM trans too?

As said its a 4L80E. Truck had a C6. Ran the 4L80 and NP205 for about a year or so with the Ford motor before switching to GM.

Weighed the truck while still loaded from the 500 this week so I can get new leafs on it this summer. Perfect 37/63 weight distribution.

Got my new leafs. Short dirt test and they are a huge improvement and no more goofy leaf/coil combo on the rear. I can really feel how under shocked the rear is now, needs big bypasses. Will be fun to give them a real workout at the 1000.

Im thinking 3.0 minimum. 3.5 or 4 better given the weight on the rear

Looks and sounds like you had a blast, great write up. I had a friend trying to get me to race the DM 150 in my bronco, maybe I will give it a go next year.
