Re: yet another Richer Racing black bronco build!
couple updates... got my Dart iron eagle block finally and scat forged rotating assembly, so I hit up Greg @ Total Performance to go over the build. Per his recommendations I will be selling my TFS 11r205 heads (thing of beauty!) if anyone is in need of some bad ass bolt on heads for their 393-427 that work with stock style exhaust manifolds hit me up. They are the 66cc with titanium retainers and are fully cnc machined... Definitely the nicest looking heads on the market IMHO. Anyways, he pushed me towards 58cc AFR 220 comp cnc heads instead as he says he can pull more power much easier with them. They have larger raised exhaust ports which require custom headers. That was not a problem since I already planned on having RPM build me custom headers/exhaust. They also have a wide spread exhaust bolt pattern, so I can really compliment the package with some 2" headers. With the bump in compression Greg says we will probably wind up around 10.2:1, which is still completely doable on crappy 91. Motor should be good for an easy 650hp and around 600 lb/ft torque. Also, I finally got my Atlas 2 transfer case!! and man is that's another thing of beauty! I'll snap some photos when I get the chance. The boys over at Richer have been super swamped so no other updates as of right now, but hopefully soon!

Stopped by the shop on monday with the fam to enjoy some pre-4th festivities next door at midnight jack brewing. Was my first time seeing the bronco in person and I couldn't be happier with how it's turning out!
Glad I took the day off to enjoy my beautiful family! Truly Blessed!

B pillar all welded up, just need to do corner tubes down to the frame.
Another shot of the roof just because
And again in typical Cho fashion... I think he's secretly trying to tell us all something
First time seeing these goodies as well... Big thanks to Brandon Hollander from Hollander Motorsports for these awesome knuckles/rotor hats!

The wife and kids were visiting her parents in LA last night, so I went to the SRD off road take-over at Belching Beaver then went home to cuddle on some of my parts

Re: yet another Richer Racing black bronco build!
Nice pickup tube too
My dual ignition setup using 6AL"N"ascar certified severe duty ignition control modules and high vibration coils.
Some cheap fabricated aluminum valve covers with billet rails off Amazon. Look pretty good for under $100! Everyone else wants crazy money for theirs, so I hope these dont leak!
Harmon Racing fuel plate with dual in-tank Aeromotive A1000 pumps. Includes the pickup hose, all the fittings and 100 micron fuel filters for each pump.
My rear 3.5x18" 5 tube bypasses took FOREVER, but are finally here!
That was just what was in my back room. I have tons more in storage including my Atlas 2 transfer case I'll find some time to take more parts pix just to keep this build thread fresh. I should be getting some fab updates here soon. I'll post 'em as I get 'em!

Re: yet another Richer Racing black bronco build!
Droolin over parts yesterday... I went overkill and opted for the HD "race case" with 300m shafts. I also decided since I was doing a stand alone trans controller that I'd use their VSS tail shaft housing to make for a clean setup. It uses a GM 40 pulse VSS sensor, which I can specify within the controller (leaning towards US Shift).
Some more of the engine goodies...

Some killer parts on this build. When are you expecting to have it in the dirt?

Re: yet another Richer Racing black bronco build!
Jonny and the boys have been cranking away on some other builds they needed to get finished. They jumped back on mine this week and started hanging my rear end. There is still a TON of stuff to do, we're in the beginning stages still. My short block is at Total Performance and I'm told they will finish that up in the next week or so. I still need to order the AFR's, fuel injection system and accessory drive among other mi$c parts throughout the build. Even when all the fab work and engine is done I still have to plumb and wire I have to be realistic with my expectations... Next season would be awesome, but I'm not counting on it.alpinejd3 wrote:Some killer parts on this build. When are you expecting to have it in the dirt?
