80 series land cruiser. Its a centrifugal filter housing with a silt canister on the bottom that is removable to dump silt out. I have the adapter plate drawn up if you want the dxf file.

I appreciate it but I don't run a MAF so the adapter plate would not work for me.

That air cleaner is pretty cool.

What are rough dimensions of the box, & how big is the air tube where it attaches? Looking at pics I'd guess about 3"???

I'm getting to the point where I want to figure something out for my crew & if I can grab one of these vs. fab something I might.

The tube to adapt to is pretty damn close to the stock bronco diameter...within an 1/8". I don't have the thing here to measure OA dimensions of the box. The land cruiser filter per wix is good to 560cfm vs the stock bronco filter wix claims at 320cfm which is good to know.

Thanks for the info. I've looked a bit online to try & find sizes etc. but haven't found much yet.

It would be going in front of an inline 6 turbo diesel. That can is just similar to what I was contemplating making.

I guess I'll look up what the cfm is for the cummins stock filters & see if this thing is anywhere close.

Nothing too exciting but I got the KC cyclones mounted using the OEM power with a switch and washer bottle/pump mounted between air cleaner and fuse panel. The hood light off the factory power is nice since it will time out if left on too long. Now I just need to run the water lines for the squirters and its ready to rip...other than a timing cover coolant leak.

How'd you mount them? Self tapping screws?

Dorman 5/16 screw in plastic rivets. They rotate a bit but they are tight to the glass and I tugged on them pretty good and they wouldn't come out. 8 days in Baja will be the decider if they are strong enough!

We're you ever able to pull rough dimensions on the land cruiser air box?

Got it all painted and lowered it a little. Just need to do the steering column bearing rebuild and get Tony's projector hid lights installed. Baja bound soon.

I got a pair of Tony's retrofit lights and a fresh set of BFG shoes...almost ready for Baja this weekend.
