Caliper brackets/retainers - GOT UM!

Post by ChaseTruck754 »

Found them - thanks Tim!

Hey guys - need an oddball part.

When I got my supercab it had no front brake calipers so I am doing the Thunderbird calipers on it, which I guess people do to the broncos as well. Therefore I think the bronco ones will work on my '74.

I bought my reman. calipers but I don't have the I / H shaped clip that goes between the caliper and the upright/caliper bracket.

I don't have time to get to a junk yard and on the last 2 broncos I parted I left these on the beams when I sold them as I didn't even think about it at the time. I've got ones off the larger, 2 piston caliper sitting here, but those are bigger/different.

Anybody got a spare set off a truck they are parting? Or - anybody hit a junk yard regularly and could grab a couple for me?

If you are talking the tension spring that pushes the caliper agains the bracket I am looking for then no. Those came in the caliper kit.

Saweet! Thanks!

I'll be up your way next weekend most likely. If you'll be around I can grab them then. I'm not in any rush at this point as I am still working on the back end of the truck, but if you want them gone right away let me know and I can get you some cash for shipping or whatever.
