Re: Front coil springs
I have a set of Fabtech +6 coils you can have. Just cut them down to the size you want.

But I'll stop by and see all the work u have done on your ride and feel
Pretty insignificant about my projects then I'll have to kill myself on the way back home

Re: Front coil springs
If your out my way your welcome to grab them, they've been collecting dust for years. A friend gave them to me when he went coilover. One of those package deals on a tire trade.

Re: Front coil springs
Just a note on coil springs. When you cut coils off you stiffen the spring rate

Re: Front coil springs
So after bugging all you guys for springs I decided to just purchase some new
After all their not to expensive, Lord knows why I decided to go thru summit for this
But I did.. Not to many local options where I live. My son has been wanting to level out the 96 in
True Bro Runner fashion. He has been saving for awhile to do the front end and I admit
While waiting the stock height with 33's looks pretty silly. He is saving for beams, arms and such.
Anyhow the tuff country springs Summit sent must have been for a f100000
We installed them, I should have know better. damn that was funny. Undrivable, bounced around
Like a low rider but not very low. he was so deflated...and the camber...... Hilarious
U can just imagine a 17 year old I hated to see the disappointment but still a bit funny...
So after a bit more research I purchased some BDS, he did the swap last night with the Bilstines
And now all is well. The sort of funny part is after looking for some reasonable cheep second hand springs I now have the right ones the wrong ones, an extra set off the 79 from going to coil overs
And a set of clapped out stock ones....
I have springs coming out my ass now.... Don't know why I felt the need to share that ..was funnier after a few beers

Re: Front coil springs
That's the same way I ended up with these but it was a friend going through the same growing pains. The origional plan was for him to grab a set of coil overs but instead he decided to play musical springs. 4 sets later he found some he could live with the the trades began. I got a set of ranger coil overs off him but I had to take a set of coil springs with the deal. Then they tied in with a set of tires, traded to another guy, I ended up getting a set of wheels and the stupid springs came with them.... Agian.
