I had this same thread title a while back, autozone sells em. Of course I still have yet to buy one for mine.

They are usually on the "help" rack in the parts chains. I have picked them up at most of them....haha

Newer trucks have cables, older trucks have linkage. After breaking a ton of handles I had the earlier 80s chrome handles powedercoated semi gloss black and installed earlier linkage. The doors also have a tendency to crack around the inside handle mount. I had to weld a reinforcement plate in mine after it spidercracked.

Ya, the sheet metal the handle bolts to is pretty flimsy. I ended up just getting a cheap plastic one from autozone. I wd40'd all the moving parts for the latch and the handle and it seems to be working well. Definitely opens easier now. If/when it breaks again I will be buying the steel ones and powdercoat in them black.

Yeah I went though 3 plastic handles in my old F150, Old ones are the way to go.
