if youre going to have a motor rebuilt anyways, why not a junkyard block?

There's that all Ford yard in Anaheim. They're pretty small and no idea what their inventory looks like these days but you could give them a call.

Honestly, I don't think I ever found what I was looking for from them when I was in the area so I never got to pricing!

Ive actually called a few places looking without any luck so far. I do have one person with some factory roller blocks but no rotating assemblies to build a 408. I havent been able to find a Ford Motorsport 4.125 block and that is the actual motor build that is going in the truck. The 408 build is just to finish the desert season. So far the the motor is still running but its hurt for sure. 2-3 more trips hopefully before the actual ring land let loose.

I do have a new forum member here "Davehunk107" trying to scam me on a motor so thats always entertaining.

I have a 96 5.8 roller shortblock- no heads. Comes with timing cover, balancer and oil pan-- it came from a conversion van. I'm in phoenix - 602.502.8945 is my cell - I'm 100% not a scammer but I'm not giving it away either.

I have a set of factory roller 351 heads that I’m not using. I can’t vouch for their condition but I’d be willing to give them to a GFB’r for shipping from Montana. DM me your number and I can text pics. The short block is at the machine shop being prepped for a 408.
