I've been looking in local yards... no luck yet. If you find one in Vegas I can relay it.

My rebuild bearing/seal kit + new chain cost $180 + 7 hours labor. Try a used one. A complete as new rebuild go for $650 + shipping.
Going used. Don't even mess with one that is a leaker. Crack the thing apart and examine the bearings, seals, and chain, & Clean the filter. If you like what you find seal it up and use it. The internal exam shouldn't take more than a couple newbee hours if you have the manual.
Nice to have an as new unit, but pricy.

OK. Desperation is setting in now. I've got two weeks to get this and a lot of other things done. Leaving for the 500 on the 30th. I just need a good electric shift to replace mine for no fuss. Down n dirty swap. HELP!

Yup. Yeah. I'm crazy, but it's been a year since this thing has seen dirt and it was the best time. Don't want to miss it. Otherwise I'll be chasing in a stock F250 on paved roads for a week while the rest of the team is prerunning. Screw that!
