Looking at getting a pair of 2.5 coilovers for my bronco . Either brand I am wanting to use the Fox dsc adjusters . Price is about the same with the Fox factory series or king performance kings going up due to the dsc adjusters . As far as serviceable , reliable , customer service ( I live in the Midwest so I know it will be ordered parts and phone calls ) and best performance. I’d like to buy once and of the two buy the better of the two .

Are you talking about adding the fox DSC clickers to the Kings? Or do you want the adjustable clickers whichever route you choose?

Which ever shock I end up buying will be getting the dsc fox adjusters . My question is which shock is best the Fox factory series or the king performance series. Doing some light reading I’ve found the factory Kong’s have ss shafts which to me is good as I live in the rust belt but past that I’m looking for best parts availability, customer service, internals

IMO - fox factory series is the best shock from a fit, finish, design and performance stand point. you may want to check your information, king preformance aka prerunner have a chrome carbon shaft. fox factory has a stainless shaft. if you are going to run DCSs just get fox, no reason to mix and match brands.

Are you putting the Fox DSC’s on the Kings if you go with king?

That was the idea I’ve swapped emails with accutune and the kings with the dsc adjusters would be around same price as a complete fox factory co with the dsc adjusters

I’d say just go with Fox then. They both are of nearly identical quality, some pros and cons to each, but in the end, unless you’re building a race truck, it makes little to no difference. IMO, between Fox, King, SAW, ADS, just pick a color and go with that.

I'm a Fox man as well. IMO the overall quality is better than King.

Do whatever the Accutuners recommend. They know what they're doing and their customer support is great.

They suggested I stuck with a complete fox package as well I am 100% ok with that . Just looking for the input you guys have given as this will be my first real shock purchase . Thanks !

Depends on how hard you use the rig.
On my big Bronco I had both King and Fox. No issues with King many issues with Fox. This was over many years of use. I think the latest Fox versions are probably better?

You should know That Bronco was used once a week for 6 months for 12 years. I consider that heavy use. Your use will not even be close to that.
My EB has Fox CO w bypasses on all corners.

The purpose of my build will be a street driven trail/dune truck . Just looking to soak up the rough stuff at a decent speed . Truck will also see winters on occasion so the race stuff is probably out for me due to temps with the viton seals. Looks like I’ll be ordering a set of 2.5x12 fox factory series with the dsc adjusters and probably add some bumps after it’s on the road
