My car is a hybrid; it burns gas and rubber.

Virtually all forum software systems allow the admins to set a specific amount of time after the user's initial post is submitted to edit it. Set it to give users 24 hours or something like that, so if we realize we made a mistake or left something out we can fix it, but not so long that someone can go and delete all their posts if they get pissed off a month down the road.
I mentioned this to the admins a couple of times in the past.

Re: New format is cool!!!
my main gripe is the classifieds. if you have 15 items for sale, its nice to keep the original post up to date as to what is available, update pricing and ultimately be able to delete the post when everything is gone.sydude wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 10:09 amVirtually all forum software systems allow the admins to set a specific amount of time after the user's initial post is submitted to edit it. editing in other places just proves how poor my grammar is and that my brain works faster than my fingers.
