Used engine value opinions please

I don't think we'll need any parts from this 5.8L original 1996 engine with 174K just pulled for the new 427 that Jim & Paige's Bronco needs. Thought we'd keep it around for a bit, but even a few dollars for parts gathering toward the Stroker will help. Any thoughts about what it should sell for?

I have seen $800-$900 locally for them. I ended up buying a parts bronco for mine because I had issues finding a block on its own

For what it's worth the last couple 351w's I sold were between $250 & $350 complete. I had pulled them in running condition, but I didn't have any real history on them or enough mileage behind the wheel of them to know much. This was also 7-8 years ago now.

$500 for a complete long block seems to be the ASKING price around me here in AZ.

Thanks for the feedback Guys. Think I'll throw it up for sale pretty soon and see what happens.
