I like beer...
Right now my go to is "ruthless" rye IPA. Made by sierra Nevada.
I lean towards beers with a high alc/volume.
Stone Cali Belgium
Stone old guardian barley wine beer I think its upwards of 11%
Steve mentioned some blue dog ale, I've had that and its very good.
Since I'm neighbors with canidae dog food guys they turned me onto Tap it brewing co.
There is usually always a tap it keg of "APA" american pale ale which is very good.
My regualar beer is Heineken.
If I'm out and about and Coors light is what's around I'll usually mix up a batch of michalada to dump in the Coors and it makes it tasty and refreshing...
Ok now back to bronco work catch you guys later!

Me too. Although, when they start going above 12% the number I actually like starts to thin out.

"This one" was the Brew Rebellion Amber Ann and the "this one troo" was the Stone Enjoy By 01/16/14. Now deep into a Stone Espresso Russian Imperial Stout. Yummy. Why is the room spinning?

you guys into the darkies would love Deschutes. So much darkness up there... Just not my thing unfortunately.
I did have a couple good ales & IPA's though. Oh and a REALLY good sour in their restaurant/tap house. Tried +/- 20 new beers on my trip. Not a bad run - haha

sounds good as I haven't been in a while. Since well... the little one was born. So may be a while still til I can go again, but yeah, I'm up for it!
Killer deal about Bend was the inlaws couldn't get enough of the little one & always wanted to babysit. Dechutes brewery tour got cut short due to baby feeding emergency though so even with babysitters on the job the little one still makes the rules for what we can and can't do.

Damn no edit - spelling error there I see now. It's supposed to read pLiny the elder.
It's a very limited release IPA from Russian River Brewing.

I've heard of guys going to great lengths to get it. Mine just happened to land in my lap thanks to my brother

Guess what I have chillin fridge...for another 15min?
The top rated beer in the world according to The Beer Advocate. Yes, even better than Pliny the Elder or the Younger. Heady Topper. It's made by The Alchemist Brewing Co in Vermont. It is the only beer they make and it's only sold locally. Can't wait to crack it open.

Well damn - I guess I shoulda tried that when I was back there. Had no clue about it. Although I don't think I could give near the review that the guys on the beer advocate do. My scale simply goes from "oh crap that's good!" to "eh, that's not for me"
