Sucks they get to live there all week and I only get to visit on Mondays......

We're building new power and lighting for a new pier that was destroyed in the last storm they had. Tomorrow will be the end of the first week. This was the start of the new construction at the end of July.
Almost done.

Getting the "new to me" bike dialed in and trying to get a few more rides out of the season.

And building a deck!

Homeownership still sucking hardcore.

4 rooms completed, new hardwood floors, holes patched/painted, trimmed and all new outlets/switch's. Have also replaced 2 windows. Did some wiring on the shop, just need to dig 100' of ditch and lay the supply cable. Next up, 650SQFT of tile...........

Sounds like a few of us are in the same boat... Haven't touched the tuck in what I believe is 5+ months now. Yay....

Been on a huge shed so as to hopefully get the wife's car in the garage, shelving & general organizational stuff for the house, redoing home office, etc. I think I can see a faint dot that is the light at the end of the tunnel though, so maybe I can sneak a night or 2 in soon. Doubt it, but we'll see.

.....I know many people that can only wish they had a shed, a home office, some hardwood floor, tile or a shop. I see each of you as pretty damn fortunate.

And you have a Bronco or off road toy too?

Don't get me wrong - life is good for sure. I actually like doing construction type stuff almost as much as I like fab work, so it's not all bad. I just am jonesin for some REAL shop time, or rather to break out the port-a-band, bender and belt grinder vs. a miter and/or jig saw. I see others making progress on their toys, or better yet, actually using them & it makes me want it all!

I sold all My off road stuff for the move. I haven't been on a motorcycle for over a year. The longest I was ever off a bike before was about 6 months when I screwed up My neck. Sad times......

All the Broncos out here are rusty piles of shit also.........

Nice!! Santa Cruz is top notch. I just recently purchased a Yeti SB5c. It's an amazing machine. Luckily my riding season is just beginning.

Random updates... what are you working on?

Well, getting ready for the Baja 1000.

I just did some intercom modification to a couple Kenwood 110 watt race radio's for Brenthel's race team.

Image

I am working on a pit box radio setup, I just ordered the flight case for.

Image

About a month away until the 1000. I like the loop race's better than the paninsula runs.

All independant suspension, electronic sway control, fully self contained (gas hot water, 3 way fridge, solar panels on roof, 160L water capacity., all good for those long getaways.
