AC for the 69 Camaro… compressor is the easy part. Main HVAC unit under the dash is going to be a chore.

Wait, you have a 69 camaro!?

That was my very first car. Got it when i was 14. All my buddies were getting lowered pick ups, and me not knowing what i had, i got rid of it. I regret that day.

That looks fun and sounds delicious! Great vid of what I'm sure was a great time. Super soft spot for the mid 60's ford crew monster truck lookin thing but it sounds like you guys got to see all sorts of good stuff.

It was pretty amazing. We set the bar pretty high right out of the gate… note sure we’ll ever top it!

Bechard and I drove over 2700 miles round trip… through blistering heat, a monsoon, hail, tornado warning in NV… was an epic time.

Sounds like it. Trips like that can be hard to replicate or top and sometimes the 1st one ist just never matched. BUT, the fun is in trying right??

Was the trip just the Rugged crew? Or was it an invite or semi open invite thing?

It'd be fun to do a central coast version!

Once it was all planned and all our accommodations were set, we started getting the word out. Only requirements were, drive something cool (what's cool is up to you), and have a GMRS radio on Channel 19.

More Camaro updates… ordered me some exhaust leaks

Nah, I have a Magnaflow 2.5” exhaust system for the car but still had stock manifolds. I really wanted new manifolds with a 2.5” collector but couldn’t find anything that was supposed to fit this car, so I ordered these shorties with a ball flange (instead of gasket)… looking forward to installing them!

Looking good Steve! I have also inherited a family jewel. 66 ford stroked fe with fuel injection. Currently a majority is done. The motor loses oil pressure when warm so im going to pull it and check main and rod bearings. Its got some really good parts in it.Image
My uncle was putting it together before he passed from cancer. Im going to finish it his way. Image

Here is the main reason I haven’t Gotten much done on my bronco. Finishing up my 77 super cab tow rig. Cummins powered zf5 2016 superduty axles and suspension with coil overs up front

Yeah it’s been a ongoing project the last 2 years this year I redid the entire fuel system and she’s been problem free since. I put about 5000 miles on it this year so far
