Nice. Should be perfect. You get the spacers welded up yet?

1/2 done with the install of the leveling kit, I'm calling it quits till it cools off. Soaking through all your clothes is over rated. Not to mention the tools burning your hands thanks to the sweet sunshine.

Yup spacers welded, reamed the holes and welded some 3/6-16 bolts in the holes so I wouldn't have to fight the bolt on the back side.

Re: Random updates... what are you working on?
Next up is to get rid of the fx2 stickers, possibly the running boards and possibly the lower front bumper air dam ground effect thingy. I think it's a decent dd overall though. Sadly the bling wheels started growing on me lol, I have seen worse wheels, they rode horribly though. I think the ugliest wheels I could ever imagine we're those teddy bear ones a few years back not sure if you guys have seen those but they were pretty bad.

[quote="SteveG"]I thought we had a thread like this but I couldn't find it.
Rebuilding an EFI harness for a Mercedes SL500.... I bought the injector connector housings, terminals and the crimper and went to town. All the injector leads are together. If all goes well, I'll have them installed in the harness tonight.
====
Kudos for the effort. I keep dealing with the stock harness on the EB which is a 92 EFI Mustang motor. The efi stuff is not nearly as bad as the stock 72 EB stuff. If the darn thing was not such a custom wiring deal I would be tempted to buy something more modern. Its a lot of work to get it correct and reliable.

Re: Random updates... what are you working on?
What problems are you having, Paul? I re-worked a stock 90 Bronco harness for my EFI conversion.
More MBZ fun. This car is a mess....

Re: Random updates... what are you working on?
Steve,
The 72 install was done by PO all sloppily soldered and taped connections. Spliced ecu cuz he did not know how to snake the ECU connector thru to FW. Then the stock penetrations thru the FW are behind the intake with no access. So I fixed that by extending the harness. I now have the fat bundle so it clears then engine now.
So for now it all seems to be working with fuses scattered on both sides of the FW. Once I get the thing on the trail and I am happy I will attack the whole wiring vehicle and efi. I think I can do it piecemeal and get more of the efi functions working per Ford. Things like the test port and the brake light, etc. And of course replace the ancient Ford wires that now days have very hard insulation. New modern connectors would be nice.

Re: Random updates... what are you working on?
Designed, lasered, and bent new suspension for the Class 10 car. The guys at Jakes Fabworks have been putting it together and doing all the welding. They are really doing a good job and it is turning out awesome.
