I have the same feeling I had in my gut 4 years ago. Not hopeless, but certainly uneasy and fearful. I pray that President Obama will step and be truly presidential in ways he hasn't in the past and I pray that he is able to unite the nation. Most of all, I pray that he will not trample the constitution and hope whatever damage is done during this presidency can be undone.

No sulking, though. We still live in the greatest country on earth and must conduct ourselves accordingly. Lead by example and FIGHT for what we have.

Well put Steve. But, being in construction for 25 years, the last 4 have been the worst i've ever seen! The banks won't cut loose of money because of lack of confidence in the economic forecast.

I hear you loud and clear, Nick. I work in an industry that has been crippled by unwavering Federal support of an auto manufacturing industry that deserved to fail miserably.

My 18 year old daughter came in the house proudly after voting. I asked who she decided to vote for and got a rambling about abortion. This is a problem in our country when the topic of interest at the forefront of people's minds are things like abortion! Why didn't I hear something like "...because I think he'll represent our countries global interests better" or "I think he'll help bring manufacturing back to the States and strengthen our economy". I blame myself for this misguided decision....but I really want to kick her new boyfriends ass! I too went to bed with a sinking feeling.

Well, I can say we in MulticulturalGayGreenPartyScrewedUs-aralia, are now at the point where Nazi-fornia will be in about.....oh.....10 years or so, give or take another good public screwing or 15 by the Whogivesashitaboutthepeople government. As Rip ATorn in Extreme Predudice says to Jack Benteen (Nick Nolte), "Shit, Jack, the only thing worse than a child molester is a politician". (Although, I'm starting to wonder).

I was sick while I was watching Fox News and seeing that Obama was ahead,I can't believe that so many people in this country are blind and think that anything going to change...he has done nothing to improve this country. I guess it's true that more and more people are voting for free stuff not freedom !!!

I too am stunned. I knew in my heart that America would do the right thing and send Obama packing. I guess if you promise the world to people with no skin in the game why wouldn't they vote for him. They'll never have to pay for his wasteful spending.

Welcome to the divided states of america. Land of the taxed. Home of the freeloaders.

Gotta go now the gun store opens in an hour and a half and I want to get a good spot in line.
