Probably a Grade 5 bolts on those mounts too... hahaha.

My bypass shocks came off a truck like that.... all the adjusters where all the way in with all three bleeds open. I'm not sure why you would take a $900 shock and make it work like a $150 dollar one.

Not a very exciteable group are they? I like how they all just kind of stroll over.

That's the "Oh $%^!" stroll. As opposed to the Toyota leap. Haha! They knew the owner's bank account was busted after the build and he doesn't have cash for repairs. The owner is probably about 4'-11" too, so he's most likely a mean SOB.

That's funny. He should have cut back on the paint budget and bought a couple more tabs and grade 8 bolts. I've hit speed bumps harder than that.

Maybe they looked at the shock mounts before the jump?

I'm lovin' the fifteen seconds of silence and then the casual stroll, like their not sure if the owner is going to start throwing things at them.

He could have spilled hot McDonald's coffee on his lap! Or had a brain aneurysm from spending so much to build a truck to break it with a speed bump.

Ha! This was a cover shoot for the issue of Four Wheeler that is on the newsstands right now. The actual cover shot is the split second before the landing on the video. Four Wheeler is one of the magazines we publish over here.

We're all pretty used to seeing gnarly breakage, so it's often more amusing than surprising. Plus, we spend a lot of time trying to get the owners/drivers comfortable in front of the cameras, so we try not jump up and down when something breaks...rather, we try to keep things have the attitude that is more along the lines of 'things will be ok, just keep calm.'

Funny vid, we've all been watching it over and over here in the offices.
