Top Gear

Post by SteveG »

So my wife is watching Top Gear as I'm sitting on the couch on the laptop and glancing up at the TV occasionally. She asks me how many GFB wives record and watch Top Gear on their own.

Anyone else's wife a Top Gear fanatic?

Yes my wife loves Top Gear too although doesnt record it regularly. Her mom is from England so she feels a little connection there. There are some great episodes on You Tube if you havent found those. South America, North Pole and Southern US are good ones.

The North Pole episode is great! We watched it on the computer (terrible quality) a few weeks before it aired in the U.S. We've since re-watched it several times. I just asked her if the scooter episode was still her favorite. She said yes then rattled off about 5 other episodes that were high on the list... Tonight's episode, the Southern U.S., The 24 Hour Race, North Pole, The Bullet Train....

My wife no, but my 17 year old daughter asked me to record it for her. I've never seen it, so i'll watch it with her.

We have his and her Tivos so I fill mine up with Spike TV, VS and a ton of other history channel junk so that keeps the wifey happy that she doesn't have to watch my shows and I don't have to watch her's.
