I would love to know the suspension specs on that truck that Robbie Gordon was in at Crandon. It's a Class 8 so the frame is about the same as a stock truck or FSB. I just wonder how any inches wider and taller that truck was and the shock package. That truck is a desert truck if I understood it right that they ran in that race. Really impressive driving display if you ask me :-)

The only thing I wonder is if they did it on a smaller motor how the results would very.

That motor is moving a lot of air. I don't think a 2.5" would ever be better per say but our motors that have a pretty choked out top end and 103ci less probably wouldn't see the gains/losses as that built 454.

I usually error on the side of believing it's placebo but the biggest thing I noticed was cutting the outlet of my second cat from 2.25" to 3". It felt night and day to me. Like someone took a cork off.

When I went from a Flow Master 2.5 to a Single 3.0" Cat and 3" SpinTech muffler and exhaust, along with a big conical K&N, I noticed a faster response in the thottle and a little more top end longevity going up the big dunes at Glamis.
