Fortunately, we only have 80 -89 MY's here, no late models to temp us. Sorry to those who like them, but the 87 - 91 MY is just plain FUGLY! The 80 - 86 is a great effort by Ford to blend the newer body style with the classic looks of the 78 - 79 MY Fords. :D I say, 80 - 86's forever!!!

Rod, don 't sell yourself short... it's pretty easy to change out the front clip for then newer version... of course all the fiberglass is certainly avail and I'm sure you could get someone to send you a core support and all the grill work...

But alas... you've held stong... towed the line and stayed true to your roots... you've done the right thing and not only embraced the original TTB bronco style, but you've stood up and flaunted the pure sexy style in the face of adversary and peer pressures... I say, well done... Rod for Minister of Foreign Affairs! Remember, we need to rely on our Minister of Foreign Affairs to push the envelope, include the true international community and expand out influence to the global market!!!

And I'll take a RHD 70's Ford pickup while you're at it.

I say you blow off these APEMFB fools and we get you the 92-96 front end parts so you can be the only cool bronco in the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can get a complete 92 - 96 clip locally but they cost $2800! I could think of a dozen or so things I could spend that kind of money on rather than a sheetmetal update. Sure as eggs are eggs, some turd would pull out in front of me the next day and it would be destroyed. A good used Bronco is going for AU$10,000 + these days..... sure you want one. On your coin, anything you want ;)

Men on the ground in Oz have been tracking Rod's every movement since self-nomination. A full report is being transmitted to El Presidente for review. Mr. President. Please beware, there is some crazy shit in that report!

My personal security team of Messers Lee and Enfield have been monitoring the situation and have reported favorably to me. They feel rule 303 is not required and will allow the scrutiny to continue provided they dont intrude too close.

Steve is working on making his truck look better from the rear first. I think he may be Polish.

Naw - I just felt bad enough that I figured I'd give an 80-86 part the chance to land on an actual cool truck for once... Soon it will be hacked up like the trash it is and replaced with REAL parts...

Oh and just to show you guys I am not 100% biassed I did help do an SAS on an 86 this weekend. I'm not sure what it is but with a solid axle in the front and mud tires bigger than 37" the thing looked acceptable. Not sure how that came out of my mouth but it did. Still HATE the looks of these things in desert attire though. Just does NOT look right.

I also worked on a '79 bronco for a bit and realized I kind of want one. Good thing it's a smoggable vehicle here or I'd be after one...

I wanted to do the conversion, but after a while the old brick started to grow on me, and this site helped that.
