CTIS on Superduty axles

Post by Wrightracing.net »

I found a cool writeup on how to put a Central Tire Inflation System on 05+ unit bearing axles, front and rear. It is the first system for a truck without using Portal axles I have seen.

Check it out and comment about it here.

I wonder if a unit bearing knuckle could be adapted to TTB front end. I do know Trail-Gear and Currie make unit bearing axle ends for fabricated 9 inch housings. I was already looking the Trail-Gear 9in with unit bearing ends for $1600 for a 68" wms to wms wide housing with 3.5" tube's.

It would be a killer option on a Bronco, especially at Pismo where you go from sand to street a lot more often then anywhere else.

Here is the link.
