My brother and I were once towing an old f100 home (he was driving his 79 chevy) on a tow dolly. The f100 started to get really squirrely, swapping back and forth and my brother was doing his best to get it back under control. As it was happening, I remember us looking at each other for a split second, knowing what was about to happen and exactly what the other was thinking... "this is happening. See you at the end of the ride. If we don't make it, I love you, bro!"

We ended up being saved by a slight uphill transition and both let out a big WHEW! Scary times!

Also he's pulling it with a mini van.... Why do people tow with an insufficient vehicle?

Watching that video brought back bad memories! We had that butt pucker feeling bringing the supercab home. Made the mistake of throwing the tow dolly we brought out there to grab it with (stupid 10" wide wheels killed it fitting) in the bed of the truck after renting a trailer (which the supercab still barely fit on).
Tow vehicle was a 2500 Chevy crew cab. Luckily we also pulled out of it. We just took the rest of the drive home VERY slowly!

My buddy was supposed to lend me a trailer that day & didn't, & the tow dolly was a list minute deal another buddy had.

My search for a trailer began the following day & I bought one a couple weeks later after never wanting to be in that scenario again!

That brings back some good memories. I was at the start/finish line and swear it happened in slow motion. I remember thinking it took FOREVER for it to fall back on it's wheels on that last tail stand...

Pretty cool product, spray on chrome. A basf product for the mirror industry perfect for auto restoration of chrome parts. Water based spray chrome, pretty bad ass!
