I feel that way about all of the cars made into desert race vehicles (minus rally cars) and also cars with a pickup truck bed. So awful.

Haha - I'm with travis on the truck/car thing. Never understood El Crapmino's or Rancheesies for some reason. I'd much rather just see the normal car version of the platform they shared.

Also agree on the weird cars being turned into desert race vehicles. From Zoro to the porsche to the 55, etc. Just never got it.

Yup. Not saying I didn't know that, but rather all I was saying was any of the above body styles look better TO ME than the one with the truck back half. Pretty much: I like the Falcons way better than the Rancheros, etc.

I can agree with that. Being a car guy I can appreciate a nicely done Yugo if I have to - lol. The early style stuff is better than the 70's on the car/trucks to me for sure. IE: 2nd pic above is WAY cooler than the 1st. That's just because the older the car the cooler it is to me typically though.

That looks like Kurt Kupiec's Bronco with a stripe added at the bottom. If it is Glenn Straightiff built it about 8-10 years ago and it is the bronco that drove me to build mine. I used to prerun in it and use it to chase Kurt's son Matt around baja. It works really well and had a SVT 460 in it now it is even bigger after they blew up the 460 at Norra a few years ago.

I have been in that Bronco with Ramsey back when Kurt had the Class 8 Chevy. I was chasing for Ramsey and Kurt back then. The Big Block in that had some great pep to it. If I did not have to smog mine I would love that setup. Although, the Boss 427 in Chris Wilson's Early Bronco seems like a killer motor, light weight and Glen was thinking it has room to make it a 460ci while staying reliable. That would be cool!

Watching that bronco be destroyed, for no good reason, hurt.

So two things, the bronco flew very well demonstrating its balanced nature and secondly before attempting that again one would need a cage!
